Cheese Rolling at Coopers Hill: Sounds boring, doesn’t look it.

So one thing I’ve got on the list is going to watch (and hopefully participate in) the quirky tradition that has been taking place in Gloucester for hundreds of years. Cheese Rolling.

The Maccabees featured it in one of their music videos. It is worth a watch;

Ooooo new additions to my bucket list

So I was looking through an email I received from STA Travel today regarding different festivals around Europe that happen throughout the year. In fact, I have heard of all of them and actually been interested in them before. But I never knew when they were or where they were. But now I do, and I even know how much it would cost :) Good times.

So the new additions to my ever growing bucket list are;

Pamplona – Running with the Bulls

La Tomatina – Worlds largest organised tomato fight

(and I don’t even like tomatoes….)

Oktoberfest – It needs no introductions

Why not check them out and add them to your list…

Bucket List: 132) Glue money to the sidewalk

The votes were taken and this concluded with the winner, with 32% of the votes, being;

132) Glue money to the

sidewalk

The person who chose this was @Oksana6. To be honest, this is not something that needs the help of anyone else apart from a few close friends. Seeing as this is such an easy task to do, I feel that we should ALL take part in this with @Oksana6.

Bucket List: 5 Numbers now need to be cut down to 1 – Voting needed

I must say, I was shocked by the overwhelming response the last few blog posts have received. The blog has had literally thousands of new visitors. So thank you.

So we have our final list of 151 wishes people want to do, and our aim is to help people achieve their wish, or get as close to it as possible. As stated before we will be focusing on one from the list at a time. So that 2000+ people will be able to help. This combined effort will make it easier to achieve our goal (hopefully).

So to make this fair, every time we complete a goal, we will pick 5 random numbers and you guys get to vote for the one you think we should focus on.

For this time, I used a number generator from the internet, and the proof of how I got the numbers can be seen in the video below;

The Bucket List: What’s next…?

We now have our list, and thank you to everyone for contributing. So the next step is deciding what to do with this list of things people want to do before they die. So I have devised a plan that we can help ONE PERSON at a time with our combined efforts. It is a Twitter experiment that we can all be involved in. I think if we all got together (all 2000 of you) and chose one of the things from my previous post, we could all help someone achieve their goal. A combined effort would make it so much easier than one person trying to do it. 2000 is better than 1.

Bucket List: Let’s put together a list of things we want to do before we die

Lets cut to the chase. I am always about doing random stuff, if possible, and with the new TV show on MTV, The Buried Life, being highly marketed across the US at the moment, I thought it would be a good idea to put a list together of what people want to do before they die.

So using my Twitter account I have asked the question, and the people have  responded, and hopefully continue to do so. I want to see how big we can get this list, and hopefully we all get some ideas of exciting things to do ‘before we die’.

It is sort of a Bucket-List but in the words of Ruby Siketa,

“It’s about thinking

about what you would

REGRET not doing

before taking your last

breath”

I want to make this work, and ideally help people strive to do the thing they want to do before they die, whether simply helping them find the information to do it, or if someone sees that they can help, they will tweet the person and help them.

I WANT IT TO A BIT OF FUN THAT HOPEFULLY SOME PEOPLE COME OUT WITH IDEAS AND HOPEFULLY HAVE COMPLETED ALL OR SOME.
